Biography

Andrés Iniesta Lujàn was born on 11 May 1984 in Fuentealbilla, Spain. Growing up, he played for Albacete Balompié, and at the age of 12, his skills became visible for multiple clubs around Spain. Iniesta became a member of Barcelona's youth academy and spent the most significant part of his career in this club. His debut was in 2002, at the age of 18. After that, he started regularly playing in the 2004-2005 season and remained in Barcelona until 2018.

Career

From La Masia to the Barcelona FC, Iniesta was always considered as one of the most talented players of all time. Sometimes called as Sweet Iniesta, he played as a midfielder under the number 8.

During his career in FC Barcelona, he got multiple trophies and titles individually and also as a member of Barca, such as UEFA Best Player in Europe( 2012), four times Champions Leauge Winner (2006, 2009, 2011, 2015), nine times Spanish Champion, six times Spanish Cup Winner, three times FIFA Club World Cup Winner, seven times Spanish Super Cup Winner, three times UEFA Supercup Winner, and so on.
